Dear colleagues, guests, and friends,<\/strong><\/p>\n It is our pleasure to invite you to the 6th Emergency Medicine Congress with international participation, organized by the Croatian Medical Association, Croatian Society of Emergency Medicine will take place in Vodice from June 03-05, 2022. <\/p>\n The second pandemic year is behind us, and despite numerous challenges and a significant increase in the volume of work, I am pleased that the events organized by the Society continue. The year 2020 has dramatically changed our lives and the face of the world. Already during the first wave of the coronavirus pandemic, the world came to a standstill, and so did our domestic and foreign gatherings.<\/p>\n Unlike the 5th Congress, which we were unable to hold in 2020, we hope that this year we will be able to achieve the planned and organize the Congress in full. Due to the uncertain and unpredictable circumstances in which we find ourselves at this time, the Congress is planned in a hybrid form as well and the planned lectures and workshops will be held onsite, but virtual participation will be available to those lecturers who will not be able to travel to Vodice.<\/p>\n It is my goal to gather distinguished lecturers and participants: emergency medicine specialists and residents, medical doctors, nurses and technicians, as well as all others who provide emergency care to patients in their daily work. The scientific program of the Congress consists of plenary lectures, oral presentations, poster presentations, coordinated discussions and workshops, which will provide an opportunity for all participants to exchange knowledge and information related to scientific research, new ideas and technologies applied in everyday practice to enhance the quality of emergency medical care provision on both the out-of-hospital and the hospital levels.<\/p>\n We believe that the choice of topics will spark your interest and that the Congress will meet all your expectations.
