INSTRUCTIONS FOR PRESENTERS

oral presentations duration: according to the program
lectures are kindly asked to adhere to the time set for oral presentations because after the time runs out, the presentations will be cut off
language for oral presentations: Croatian or English
language for slides: English
recommendations:
– avoid using capital letters
– avoid using red letters
– avoid using full sentences, main pointers are enough (4-5 per slide)
– number of slides: 1-2 per minut

instructions for presentations:

PCs will be used at the Symposium; presentations should be prepared in Microsoft PowerPoint (PPT). Macintosh users must export their presentation as an MS PowerPoint file
you may use the following TEMPLATE
allowed formats are: .ppt and .pptx
videos need to be compressed. There are many formats and codecs, but we recommend .mp4 video H.264 video and AAC audio (MPEG-4 AVC)
LCD projector format: The standard projector format in congress halls is 4:3
lecturers are kindly asked to hand in their presentation to the congress agency technician no later than 2 hours before the beginning of the section during which the lecture is taking place in the corresponding congress hall
the technical staff will test and check the compatibility of the presentations and the lecturers will then have the last chance for the last minor changes
lecturers are asked to give any special instructions related to the presentations to the technical staff when giving the presentation, not during the lecture

Program

Participants who would like to give an oral or poster presentation should submit an abstract for consideration by the Expert Committee who will determine whether the abstract will be accepted for an oral or poster presentation.
